Brushed Check - Tweed

A soft polyester bouclé fabric with a bold texture crafted from curled yarn strands that can vary between tight coils or laxed ringlets, which is why the original name of this fabric comes from the French word for “loop”. Wonderful for anything from classic suit, coats, jackets and of course teddy bears and other soft toys. 
 
This fabric is so lovely for sewing bears with as the texture hides all sorts of mistakes, and is a novel and cost effective alternative to traditional mohair.
 
Sold by the half metre: price is per piece of 50cm x 150cm.
If you order more than one piece, the fabric will be cut as a continuous length.
